Native Iowan, born in Des Moines. Studied medicine at the Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine, Des Moines, IA, graduating in 1997 in Physician Assistant studies. Currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of Iowa. Spending several years in family practice in Des Moines, treating a wide range of patients from the young to the elderly, always with a keen passion for medical aesthetics.
Over the past 20 years, she has furthered her studies in Advanced Cosmetic Medicine, becoming an expert in the field of cosmetic injections as a certified trainer for the Allergan Medical Institute.
Also being certified in MicroTox® TheraTox™ NasalTox™, she specializes in neurotoxins including Botox, Juvéderm dermal fillers, and many other cosmetic procedures.
Michon has an artistic ability to refresh and renew the skin, while creating a naturally youthful appearance, reversing the signs of aging. Michon has trained with Beverly Hills and Brazillian plastic surgeons, along with other top leaders in the cosmetic and dermatologic industry.
Outside of the office, she enjoys studying natural medicine, fitness and nutrition, and has earned herself the coveted status of an IFBB Professional Athlete. She also researches history, politics, and biblical eschatology.
