Katie Rose is a board-certified Physician Assistant. Prior to joining Skin Iowa, she was practicing as an advanced practitioner in dermatology in Illinois. She specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Katie is an Iowa native who grew up in Urbandale. She received her undergraduate education through the University of Iowa where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology, followed by her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Des Moines University.
Katie has been a patient of Skin Iowa for over a decade. Prior to PA school, Katie completed several hours of provider shadowing with Sue Schooler at Skin Iowa and completed her dermatology clinical rotation in PA school here, as well. “It has always been a goal of mine to practice in dermatology and care for patients with skin concerns, but to be able to do so where it all began is truly a dream come true.”
